Your chassis requires this stiffening when you increase your tire and/or wheel size or aggressively drive your car. The stiffer chassis improves steering, improves weight transfer and maximizes handling. Each strut brace is manufactured from forged aluminum, mandrel bent, and polished to a high luster to reduce internal stress and improve its look in your engine compartment. All fasteners are plated for corrosion resistance. Each mounting plate is manufactured from steel, precision machined, corrosion treated and powder coated with our FREEDOM DESIGN red finish for long life and excellent looks. This brace fits across the back of the rear seat without cutting the metal brackets on the side of the rear shock towers but does require removal (it just pulls out) or trimming of the rear deck cover.
